Congratulations on the arrival of your new baby.

It's an exciting time but it can also be a bit overwhelming to find out you have a child with Down syndrome.  Be assured that we are here to support and encourage you through all the joys and challenges of having a baby with Down syndrome, through all life stages.

Babies and young children with Down syndrome need what all babies need: cuddles, nourishment, and love. They will grow, learn and develop, reaching childhood milestones – just at their own rate. Although your baby may have some physical characteristics common to people with Down syndrome, he or she will also look like members of your family. Your baby also needs health care, a rich, stimulating learning environment and the company of family and friends.

Our New Parent Information Pack has a wealth of resources and can help answer some of the questions and concerns you may be experiencing.  We can also visit you in your home or at hospital and you are always welcome to come and see us at the office.  To request a New Parent Information Pack or arrange a visit:
